Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated 14 October 2026

Storefront GH is for genuine, lawful businesses. This policy lists what is not allowed, so that customers can trust the businesses they buy from and our payment partners can keep serving us. It is part of our Terms of Service.

1. Goods and services you may not sell

  • Anything illegal in Ghana, or illegal where your customer is.
  • Weapons, ammunition, explosives and their parts.
  • Illegal drugs, drug paraphernalia, and prescription medicines without the required licence.
  • Counterfeit, stolen or pirated goods, or anything that infringes someone's trademark or copyright.
  • Gambling, lotteries or betting without a valid licence.
  • Pornography or sexual services.
  • Investment schemes promising guaranteed returns, pyramid or Ponzi schemes, and unlicensed money lending, foreign exchange or cryptocurrency trading.
  • Fake documents, certificates or identities, and services to get around the law.
  • Human remains, protected wildlife, or products from endangered species.
  • Anything else our payment providers prohibit, as they tell us from time to time.

2. Things you may not do

  • Mislead customers: fake products, false prices, false reviews, or taking payment for things you don't intend to deliver.
  • Impersonate another person, business, bank or government body, or collect passwords or payment details under false pretences.
  • Post content that is hateful, harassing, threatening, or that exploits children.
  • Send spam, or use customer information for anything other than serving that customer.
  • Upload malware, or try to break into, overload, scrape or test the security of Storefront GH without our written permission.
  • Get around our limits, share or sell access to your account, or use Storefront GH to take payments for another business.
  • Open accounts to evade a suspension.

3. What happens if this policy is broken

Depending on how serious it is, we may:

  • ask you to change or remove content;
  • unpublish your website or switch off payments;
  • hold payments while we investigate, as allowed by our terms and our providers' rules;
  • suspend or close your account;
  • report illegal activity to the authorities and our payment partners.

4. Reporting a problem

If you see a business on Storefront GH breaking this policy, or think you have been defrauded, email support@osemtech.com with the website address and what happened. We review every report.
